Bless You Boys

So not much new has gone on....except the fact that the Detroit Tigers are in muthafuckin' first place!! Try as they might the White Sox have not been able to catch up to the Motor City Kitties for over a month now, and somewhere Ty Cobb is turning over in his grave (and probably taking someones knees out with his spikes). I never figured I'd be catching Tiger fever but it was a good time to jump on the bandwagon

Otherwise, I'm working and hoping things get a bit more interesting for you to read about soon. I have a trip in the works to New Zealand in November with my good friend Andrew Kilmer and so there will hopefully plenty to talk about then, but it may lead to a less exciting summer. Hope everyone is doing well...pull up a chair, crack open a beer, and tune into the Tigers wherever you can. It's going to be a good summer

Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion

So the day has finally come and passed, and the Rick Hansen Walk went off without a hitch. A big thank you to all 4 people who showed up...Just kidding, we somehow rounded up 72 people (possibly 50 or so from local shelters and homes for troubled children) and made them walk 4.2km. The good news is we raised $3100 for spinal cord injuries and I think I get to keep the french banners they gave us (who needs English anyways when you can "Roulers vers demain"). The event also featured the interesting sidebet between my brother and Mario for who could finish the race the quickest, with the loser donating 10 bucks to the charity, and the winner getting all the hot dogs he wanted.

That is one flexible clown

Mario is pumped about his big lead

Either I just got jittery with the camera or PAt is literally fading from the race

Canada vs. USA U-19's Rugby

Game took place on Thursday, June 8th at the St. Denis Centre Field on the campus of the University of Windsor (pour some liquor for all my departed Windsor homies)
