I guess nothing happened in October

Finally an update since I haven't been very faithful with this thing lately. I got really caught up with the Detroit Tigers playoff run that I never seemed to get online to keep people up to date...So here goes the month of October, in a nutshell:

(Watched the Tigers at Spicoli's against the Yankees..they lost, watched them everywhere else but Spicoli's...they won 7 in a row...Went across the border to the D when they clinched against the A's to celebrate while Monica went to the game = jealous....grew more and more frustrated watching the World Series, practiced fielding ground balls in case I got called up....Ran 5km today as part of the Detroit MArathon Weekend, was shooting for the half marathon this year but my injury plagued body said no. Ran like the dickens to keep up with the little kids today...and finally have been planning the remainder of my trip to New Zealand for which I leave in 12 days. I promise to keep this more udpated, especially when I get back so that everyone can take a gander at the pictures)

There...that's about it...and the parentheses made it seem like a nutshell...excellent!

Possible the worst post ever but I just wanted to get back into the groove.

Also check out Andrew Kilmer's blog (andykilmer.blogspot.com) as I will be travelling with him.

Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?
