Beer ups!

On Tuesday I start as the official team therapist for the Windsor Rogues Senior Men's and Women's Rugby clubs. I'm not going to lie, I'm not entirely sure I know what I'm getting myself into. I'm just trying to rid my mind of the thought of the dislocated shoulders, gapping wounds and concussions. At least I was warned to bring extra Vasoline for all the cuts. It'll be cool to work with a sport where I'll be busy, but at the same time I'd almost rather just be a therapist for the croquet team...what's the worst that could happen there???

Honestly though I'm pretty pumped for the opportunity. This will give me some good experience, and also I anticipate lots of beer...who can't use lots of that! The scariest part of it all is that the coach and manager told me to bring a pair of cleats just in case they needed to use me....I might bring them just to make sure I don't slip when I'm running away from them to my car...

I Love you "Anonymous"

Lately I've noticed a lot of comments on my blog that weren't usually there...seeing as no one reads this, but I came to learn that I have a loyal and hardcore fan going by the name "Anonymous". Much like his name, he leaves equally generic comments such as..."Really amazing! Useful information. All the best" and the always helpful "Very pretty site" which maybe I should be offended by. He's also gone on to say "Your are Excellent. And so is your site! Keep up the good work. Bookmarked" which makes me think that I need some hard hitting one work saying like Bookmarked! How do I compete?? Maybe Shazaam! The amazing thing is that Anonymous seems to get repetitive with his comments, even word for word sometimes...amazing. But what it all boils down to is this; if I'm ever feeling low I just read a few comments from my anonymous friend to boost my self-esteem......God I hope I get a comment on this one

Arizona Part 3

Maybe I'll finally finish putting up these pictures. Nothing new has really happened anyways so if I spread these out it will keep things exciting.

Arizona Pictures (way overdue)

Man these pictures take forever to upload, so this is part 1 of the pictures with more to follow. I was just getting irritated with how long its taking, plus with how long its been since I've updated people (and 24 is on...so I'm out!)

Camelback Mountain (Elevation - 27000ft.) We're about to hike that bitch

About 2ft. into our 27ooft climb, it's 7:30 am, 90 degrees, and the sun doesn't like us already

Some pretty amazing houses built into the side of the mountain. Maybe the sherpas live there

About 5 minutes into the hikeand I'm downing bottle 1 of 4

A pretty steep section with a bar installed to help us newbies get up. A guy had just run up the right hand side of this before I went

It's been a long while...

..Since we last talked. I've been pretty busy, mostly with going to Arizona, studying for a test and planning the Rick Hansen Walk. I'll post some Arizona pictures when I get them all put on the computer, but what an unreal trip. It was consistently 90-95 degrees down there, but not the kind of hot that makes you want to jump off a bridge, just warm. I've never drank so much water in my life and not had to pee. We did a lot of hiking/climbing depending on the area you were at. Camelback Mountain in Phoenix was quite the climb but well worth it to get the view of the entire city. We also tooka jeep tour of the mountains in Sedona which was ridiculous. Driving up and down 45 degree inclines on the edges of mountains should be done as much as possible in my opinion. The scenery was amazing out there, it's like a whole other world.

Hopefully everyone is doing well, I'm just back at the daily grind, living the dream so to speak. I should be putting up pictures in a day or two, and then maybe shamefully describing my love for Laguna Beach...but until then take care
