Good times

It finally hit me...that whole "missing school" feeling. I was sitting at the OUA track meet and remembering the Queen's track party we went to, where names were made up, beer ran out, and we got moeny back....I love my job, and I love having money, but I miss that no responsibilities other than school work atmosphere. It was good to be able to call someone up at midnight and head out until 2 or 3 on a Monday night. I think it especially hit me since I had just spent the past two weekends with all the friends I had made over the past few years and came to the realization that, Windsor sucks without those guys being around.

So here's to all the good times:
1) To sliding down stairways when the party is dead
2) To breaking big snowmen or big fences, whichever you so choose
3) To jimmer's, PMS, International Mustache Day..and other boys nights
4) To Mickey Parties and 476 Rockers
5) To the Brass, the Peel and wherever you might stumble after it
6) To White Rhythm, Europa and other strange adventures
7) To closing down Jeffrey with the janitors during exam time
8) To picking fights with guys up in their aparment from down on the ground
9) To sliding down banisters
10) Hey Frank....fuck you
11) To playing hockey in Brock-Nelson Park, beerzby in the backyard, golf in the house and any sport at BEWIC
12) To PT/OT games....and that crazy bar in Hull
13) To practicing at the CEC, and double duking in the bathrooms
14) To all the men who wear shirts when they want to
15) To ghost rider, jumping on the stability ball, cruising in the O-Bomb or the X-files mobile

And to all the friends from K-Town, the good times we've spent together, and the good times we will continue to have. Let's do it again soon!

O-Town

So it's been awhile since I've posted, mostly because I've been galavanting across Ontario. First, I went to Ajax and then this past weekend I hit up Ottawa. It was a reunion for the boys of 476 Johnson St. as the entire house was in town for the weekend. I also got to hang out with a lot of other good friends (Mills, Kevbo, Anne, Creecher, Sal, Sarah...anyone else who I forgot?) and take part in the best thing Ottawa has to offer.....mind numbing cold weather. Actually, it was a sweet visit, took in the sights of the ice sculptures at Winterlude and did entirely enough drinking to satisfy me until next weekend. Thanks for a good time all...and keep the Jimmers coming!

In other news, the amazing rap group of White Rhythm was met with some skepticism this weekend as a few girls seemed a bit uninterested in the apparently too hardcore lyrics. Founding member Andrew "White Rhythm" Mills was quoted as saying "You think the Beastie Boys were picking up the chicks right away? No!".

I probably shouldn't put this picture on for obvious reasons, being in Ottawa and all

I'm not even sure what this actually is now that I took the picture, all I knew is my toes were frozen

Johnny strikes a pose....

Sean being "That Guy"

Kevbo representing White Rhythm...Cape Breton in the background is a nice touch

Also another "That Guy" candidate. Showing off that I stole a "Get What Milk Gives" cooler bag off my Dad, paying no attention to the initials clearly written on it....badass

Re-frickin-diculous!!!

Now more than ever, I want to actually go to the Super Bowl. Running down that tunnel, getting high fives from Steelers and Seahawks fans alike and cheered on by 60,000 people while I was no more than 10 feet away from the Rolling Stones was an amazing experience (I was at the left corner of the lips). There was so much energy in the building, people were going nuts, and I gave 110% to embarass myself to try and get on TV...It didn't happen, but man was it a good time. Apparently, the Rolling Stone sucked, but standing on the field you couldn't really tell. All I know is I shouted and sang until I just couldn't do it anymore. To get to that point I had to subject myself to long practices, hours of sitting and waiting, -10 to 20 degree weather with no jacket or hat followed by 25 degree bus rides (which caused me to puke twice before running on the field). Over the course of the weekend I saw the Stones perform 4 times; stood about 2 feet away from them on numerous occassions; saw Mike Tirico, Sam Ryan and more ABC broadcasters; bumped into Michael Irvin; and got to make an utter fool of myself on the 50-yard line of the Super Bowl with over 100 000 000 people watching....Am I tired? Dead tired. Was it worth it? You bet.

The Super Bowl Is Upon Us

Here are a few pics of our Super Bowl Halftime Practice. I don't think I'm allowed to say anymore about it or else I risk being shot by the NFL....without their expressed written consent. I'll write upa much larger post about the craziness that is the Super Bowl and its Halftime Show when everything is all said and done. One more practice tomorrow with the Rolling Stones performing and then the big day Sunday....It's going to be a busy weekend

Also I've added my friend Andrew's blogs to my menu. He's just moved to Australia for school and should have some crazy adeventures.
